Renewable Energy Business Incubator(REBi) ltd held her annual net working event 2019 at Protea Hotel Kololo in Kampala.The event was held on the 20th .11.2019 under the theme; Building strategic partnerships to skill youth and women in Renewable Energy for reduced energy poverty. The event was attended by a number of resourceful partners/ stakeholders who included among the following; representatives from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala, Government of Republic of Uganda, sister organizations and agencies, NGOs, Technical Vocational Education and Training Institutions partnered with on the project, current and former REBi ltd incubates. The event enabled participates to share information, knowledge and experiences in promoting Renewable Energy(RE). The “battle necks” were also shared and workable solutions gathered on how best RE can be promoted. The networking event is one of the outputs for the project: Vocational Training for Job Creation In the Renewable Energy Value Chain in Uganda implemented by REBi ltd with support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala. The three years project aims at contributing to increased employability among the youth and young adults in the RE in Uganda. The exhibition that exposed participants to the different RE technologies and products was one of the major activities during the networking event for the year 2019.
